Also known as Common Mullein, Great Mullein, and Velvet Dock. Mullein is a tall biennial plant that is traditionally used for its emollient and astringent properties. It was first recommended for use 2000 years ago by Dioscorides (an ancient Greek physician) for coughs and pulmonary problems.
